Affordable SEO are two words that do not always find themselves in the same sentence. Often when these two words do find themselves together, they are actually a part of a larger number of words that often contradicted the image that affordable and SEO evoke. That is because frequently, a SEO’s idea of affordable and the small business owner’s idea of affordable were miles apart.

Professional SEOs know the value of search engine optimisation and the potential SEO can bring to any business no matter how large or small. They understand the time commitment needed to perform SEO to the expected level. SEO involves a blend of skill, time and motivation. This frequently presents an enormous opportunity to a business with a large marketing budget or an enormous cost that can’t be justified to a small local business with a small budget.

The All or None Strategy

For this reason, many SEO’s and SEO firms approach every business owner the same way. The service is the same, the time commitment is the same and the cost is the same. Take it or leave it. It is easy for Professional SEOs to fall into this trap. Because there are so many businesses that can afford higher fees and service rates, it can be easy to overlook the little guy when there are much bigger payoffs to be had. To maintain a staff of professionals that all have their own role to play, extremely high monthly fees and hourly rates are needed to complete the job.

Many SEO firms are simply not seeking business from the small local business man and his small budgeted online operation. These local businesses do not have the resources to fund the daily operations of the large SEO firm. Any small business that seeks SEO service needs to concentrate on SEOs that focus on local businesses or on locals in their community that provide SEO in their areas. This will be the only affordable solution to many small business owners seeking higher search results for their local small business.

With the trend moving to local small business marketing, it should be relatively easy to locate a Local SEO Professional that can service the local small business owner at rates they can afford. The search may take a little longer, but in the end, the increased rankings and the new visitors this provides will make it well worth the effort.
